Hi, I’m Quentin.
I am an early-career Forester and hold a Masters of Science (MS) degree from the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Sciences (CFANS). My degree is in Natural Resources Science and Management - Forests: Biology, Ecology, Conservation, and Management.

Some of My Main Skills Include:
- Silvicultural prescriptions and timber contracts, common stand exams, stand cruising,forest biometric calculations and reports, NEPA planning and compliance.
- Field monitoring of stand treatments, reporting back status and evaluations.
- Rx and wildlife fuels suppression, treatment, and management.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with timber, wildlife, fire, and botany.
- Strong interest and knowledge of traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) particularly of local Dakota and Ojibwe nations.
- Advanced geospatial information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and cartography skills.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility leadership in the form of events on public lands in communities specifically for individuals that identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

- FFT2 in progress as of August 2023 (still need to do pack test, all courses complete)
